In Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, you can:
- change the color of text, objects, and backgrounds
- and create custom colors using color values (HEX or RGB), using the built-in color slider, or by using the eyedropper tool to select an existing color on the page.
To use the eyedropper tool to select a custom color for your text:
- Highlight the text you want to color.
- In the toolbar, click Text color A icon.
- In the dropdown menu, click on the eyedropper icon
- Using the eyedropper tool, click on any color on your screen and your text will change to that color!
