Create an Animated GIF with Canva

Animated GIFs are not only fun but can also be super helpful when looking to providing a visual on how to accomplish a task. 

To create a simple animated GIF from a video in Canva:

• Open Canva
• In the top right, click on "Create a design".
• Choose "video" in the dropdown menu.
• On the far left, click on "Uploads" then "Videos" (in the center of the fly out menu).
• From here, you can either upload your video or use a video you have already uploaded. Note: You can create screen capture videos on your Macbook using Preview, or online using Canva or Screencastify. Videos used to create animated GIFs should be super short.
• Drag the video onto the project space and resize it to fit.
• In the upper right, click Share > Download > GIF.

To animate your GIF, simply upload it to a Slideshow or website!
