I'm sure you're familiar with the copy and paste shortcuts (Cmd + C and Cmd + V).
Paste without formatting takes that a step further by removing any underlying formatting.
To paste without formatting, use the shortcut keys
Macs: Cmd + Shift + V
Chromebooks: Ctrl + Shift + V
It's a universal shortcut that works just about everywhere.
I find it especially useful when I'm copying from one place to another. For example, when I copy from a website into a Google Doc and don't want all the crazy formatting.
