Split Table Cells in Google Docs

You can now split table cells into a desired number of rows and columns in Google Docs. 

To split cells:

• Insert a table
• Right-click (control-click) in the cell you want to split
• Click Split cell
• Enter the number of rows and columns you want
• Click Split.
