Drag and Drop an Image to Replace the Background in Google Slides

You can now easily drag and drop an image to replace the background in Google Slides.

To set an image as a background in Google Slides:
Choose an image from your desktop, Content Library or another webpage, then slide and drop the image on the border of an empty slide. 

Note: Dropping the image anywhere else will simply insert the image onto the slide.
